Rosezetta E. Upshaw is a dynamic leader and strategist in the legal profession. For over a decade, she has assisted business owners with trademarks, LLCs, and legal support. She holds a B.A. from UC Berkeley and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California.

With nearly 2000 clients represented in civil litigation trials and proceedings, Rosezetta was named 2020 Lawyer of the Year by the Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce and selected as a Top 40 Under 40 Lawyer by the National Bar Association.

Her commitment to community service and advocacy began over 25 years ago as a volunteer in juvenile detention centers. She has received formal recognition from the United States House of Representatives for Outstanding Service and was a nominee for the California State Legislature Martin Luther King Humanitarian Award.

Rosezetta proudly served as the 2019-2020 President of Black Women Lawyers of Los Angeles, Inc., and is a Lifetime Member of both the John M. Langston Bar Association and the California Association of Black Lawyers. A classically trained musician from Vallejo, California, she toured internationally on bass guitar and upright bass before practicing law. Recently, she co-launched an inspirational clothing line, Afro Aviator, with her younger brother, Lieutenant Jamar Upshaw.
